Welcome
A Place to Heal, Grow, and Move Toward Wholeness
Life can leave us feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, stuck, or uncertain about how to move forward. Sometimes we know exactly what has hurt us. Other times, we simply know that something in our lives no longer feels the way we want it to.
I believe every person has the capacity to move toward greater wholeness—mind, body, and soul. Healing is not about becoming a different person. It is about reconnecting with the parts of yourself that may have been buried beneath painful experiences, difficult relationships, stress, or the demands of life.
My own journey of healing from childhood trauma through meaningful therapeutic work and support deeply influenced my decision to become a counselor and specialize in helping others heal from trauma.
It is a privilege to walk alongside people as they rediscover hope, experience growth, and create meaningful change in their lives.
Is Counseling Right for You?
Are you feeling overwhelmed at home, at work, or in your relationships? Are you carrying the effects of painful experiences from your past? Do you long for a space where you can slow down, be heard, and explore what is happening in your life without fear of judgment?
As a professional counselor, I provide individual counseling for adults and preteens experiencing:
- Anxiety and chronic worry
- Depression or feelings of hopelessness
- Trauma and PTSD
- Childhood trauma that continues to affect your life
- Attachment and relationship challenges
- Difficult life transitions
- Feeling stuck or disconnected from yourself
- A desire for greater self-understanding, growth, and purpose
Whether you are facing a current crisis or simply sense that there is more healing and growth available to you, you do not have to navigate the journey alone.
My goal is to provide a safe, confidential space where trust can develop and your story can be explored with compassion and care. Together, we can identify patterns, strengthen your inner resources, and discover meaningful paths toward healing, hope, and a greater sense of wholeness.
My Background
My professional experience has allowed me to work with individuals from a variety of backgrounds and life experiences. In addition to my work in counseling, I have supported families within the foster care system as they worked toward reunification and have worked in educational settings helping students navigate academic, career, and college decisions.
I earned my graduate degree in Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Alabama and have several years of experience providing professional counseling and mental health support to individuals with a wide range of concerns.
These experiences have shaped my understanding that every person’s story is unique—and that meaningful counseling must honor the individual, their experiences, strengths, and goals.
My Approach to Counseling
Counseling is not one-size-fits-all. I take an integrative and individualized approach, drawing from evidence-based counseling methods while considering your unique needs and goals.
My approach may include:
- Lifespan Integration (LI) – a gentle, trauma-informed approach that can help the brain process and integrate past experiences
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) – identifying and changing unhelpful thoughts and patterns
- Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) – building on strengths, resources, and practical solutions
- Mindfulness – developing greater awareness and connection to the present moment
Together, we will create an approach that feels supportive and meaningful for you. My hope is not simply to help you manage symptoms, but to support you in understanding yourself more deeply, healing what can be healed, and moving toward the life you want to live.
